Hi my name is Joe and I am 11 years old and this is my hunt. I was hunting in Mendham, New Jersey in my double person ladder stand when I spotted a group of deer on a hill about 150 yards away. After an hour of the group running back and forth they ran over the hill. 15 minutes left of the hunt a giant 6 point buck came out of nowhere. I taped on my uncles shoulder and he looked to see if it was the deer we were after. Once we found out it was the buck was 40 yards broad side. I squeezed the trigger of my 20 ga. Mossberg 500 and made a perfected shot at the deer right through the heart and lungs. He only ran 40 yards and flipped over. The deer weight in 200+ pounds live and a 28 inch neck also the antlers were 22inch outside spread.
