We were in southeast Ohio it was November 17,2009.
I had already jumped this giant once at thirty and no shot provided so, we circled above the direction he headed to get ahead of him. My stepfather and I started sneeking down the big hollow hoping we could push the buck slowly to a couple of standers or get a shot ourselves highly unlikely with a bow, so we thought. I was sneeking along the top of the hill watching the shelf below and in front of me then thats when I had visual of the buck. He was at fourty five yards hiding around some fallen trees, to his unfortunate luck on the wrong side. The huge rack turned and I was busted it was now or never I release the arrow and the mathews smoked another one. He ran sixty yards and went down. We normaly don't drive deer with bows but it worked this time. The nontypical buck green score grossed at 224 inches!
