Daddy I really got him!

This is my daughters 1st deer taken with her .223 rifle in DeKalb County Tennessee opening day of the juvenile hunt October 25th 2008. Field dressed weight was 95 pounds.
Her name is Tristin Sierra Colwell she is 6 years old. She has been an
avid outdoors girl since she was 18 months old always loving to go with me early in the morning some mornings even using my coveralls to keep warm once we were in the field, and finally this was the year she could go and be the one to harvest a deer of her own.
It was an early evening hunt and after a miss early that morning she was determined not to miss again. She waited patiently as does moved into the field and from her secluded area in a small group of tress. She spotted him moving his way toward her she waited until he gave her the perfect broad side shot and then she let him have it at about 18 yards. He ran for 16 yards and just rolled over as she started to scream with excitement I got him daddy I really got him. She was so excited she wanted to help with everything including the dragging and clean up. She just kept saying I really got him that time didn't I daddy , my response was yes you did sweetie yes you did.
